Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth Tests Positive For COVID-19, Shares Selfie From Hospital Bed
Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, the daughter of South megastar Rajinikanth, has tested positive for COVID-19. She took to Instagram to inform her fans about the same. Aishwaryaa shared a selfie from the hospital bed and said that she contracted the virus despite taking all the precautions.

Sharing a photo of herself, she wrote, "Tested positive even after all precautions... got admitted... please mask up get vaccinated and be safe.. bring it on 2022! We'll see what more is that you have in store for me."

Last month, Aishwaryaa and Dhanush announced their separation. They released a joint statement that read, "Eighteen years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate." The estranged couple mentioned that they have decided to part ways as couple and "take time to understand us as individuals for the better."

Later, in an interview, Dhanush's father Kasthuri Raja called Dhanush-Aishwaryaa's separation "family quarrel and not divorce." Speaking to Dailythandhi newspaper, he had said that his son Dhanush and Aishwaryaa's split has taken place only because of disagreement. He called it a family quarrel that usually takes place between a married couple and not a divorce.

"Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are not in Chennai at present. Both are in Hyderabad. I spoke to both of them over the phone and gave them some advice," he added.
